After 8 Books is an independent bookstore and publisher based in Paris. The bookstore, onsite and online, welcomes the printed endeavours of contemporary artists, thinkers, writers, musicians, poets, and other art workers. We work with international publishers, mostly independent ones, involved in questions of art, culture, and theory. We propose a “handpicked” selection of new and seminal monographs, artists’ books, catalogues, essays, novels, non-fiction books, journals and zines, that you may not find altogether ever again.
