MonoRhetorik is the imprint of Matt Plezier’s art and publishing practice. Informed by DIY ethics and long involvement with punk and underground scenes, MonoRhetorik takes an approach that is sensitive to diverse contexts and aimed at disseminating a wide array of subjects.
For this edition of the Paris Ass Book Fair, Matt Plezier will present new works: DECLINE, a t-shirt, tape and zine pack of 80’s hardcore punk’s prophetic bleak future predictions of our current times, BULK, a one-of-a-kind archive of collected and repurposed x-rated source material and MAN, a gay trucker zine in collaboration with artist Rogier S.
