LADYCOTTON
Paris • France

LADYCOTTON began as a tongue-in-cheek, conceptual offshoot of a self-run screen-printing studio (PSYCH), parodying the exclusivity of the fashion industry. It is a project that explores the visual history and identity politics of queerness. With their screen printing, they want to bring attention to the unusual, bizarre and oppressed parts of the queer spectrum.
Assembling fetish photography and lettering from cottage-industry fanzines, the group creates limited edition hand-printed zines and hand-dyed t-shirts, paying tribute to unsung heroes.
Their alternative and artisanal way of printing T-shirts quickly garnered an audience and inspired collaborations with Christeene, Fever Ray and Dry Cleaning that resulted in their merch being sold around the world.
At the 2025 edition of Paris Ass Book Fair, LADYCOTTON will showcase their new project with Anna Uddenberg (Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler, Berlin) and their new collaboration with Sylvie Fleury (Karma International, Zurich). Fleury’s work critiques consumer culture and reimagines femininity, aligning with LADYCOTTON’s mission to challenge societal norms.
