Éditions B42
Montreuil • France
Éditions B42 publishes books that explore the visual environment in which we live, helping to build a library of resources for reflecting on practices in design, graphic design, typography, and contemporary creation. These studies intersect with other fields: technology, media, digital culture, anthropology, and cultural studies. B42 is committed to translating major texts in the history of design and typography, as well as publishing essays that contribute to the dissemination and renewal of knowledge. From this work, which began in 2008, a catalog of reference books has emerged—highly regarded by educators in particular—that constitutes a living, ever-evolving collection. These books hold a prominent place in the libraries of designers, graphic designers, architects, artists, students and educators in these fields.
