Woman Cave

Woman Cave is a design studio founded in 2019 by two friends, architect Chloé Macary Carney and artist Léticia Chanliau. The duo explores notions of gender and inclusivity in lived spaces through the publication of a bi-annual journal, the Woman Journal, as well as through the implementation of participatory workshops and the design and creation of spaces and design objects under the name Cluso Studio. They also participate in exhibitions, biennials, and cultural programmes at the crossroads of contemporary art, architecture and design. Volume 2 of the Woman Journal was released at the end of 2022 with the theme “Power Relations and Cohabitation,” and Volume 3 will be released in the summer of 2023 with the theme “Toolbox, Tools of Emancipation.”
