Nino Cadeau is an artist who combines illustration, zine and installation. His work develops a graphic universe influenced by Shojo and Yaoi manga, along with pornography and web culture more generally. For Cadeau, sexuality is a performance, identity is artificial, and the characters in question gain their definition through power games played with the viewers. Fascinated by the love we can feel for the products that surround us, he counterfeits everyday objects to charge them with pornographic energy.
