BUTT 25 YEARS: INTERGENERATIONALISM
In English
Sunday 7 June, 16:00
Since its surprise rebirth in 2022, BUTT is charging ahead as a go-to hub for some of the most important conversations and unhinged dynamics in queer culture. From global stars like Arca and Félix Maritaud, to under-the-radar activists and sex workers, the magazine is consistently combing the far corners of queer life to produce a deliriously sexy capsule of our times.
One of the magazine’s defining strengths lies in its candid and equal portrayal of queer lives in all their diversity: big and small, urban and rural, pop and underground, extra-queer, ultra-hot, and unapologetically shocking—and, of course, across all ages. BUTT believes in “Intergenerationalism.” We have, for the first time in history, four generations of out and proud queer people in conversation with each other in print.
Join the current editor-in-chief Andrew Pasquier, founders Jop van Bennekom and Gert Jonkers, and several intergenerational BUTTHEADS, for a conversation delving into the history and future of the magazine and its community.
