Tuā Hí Pau 大囍包

“Tuā Hí Pau 大囍包” is a publishing collective composed of a young generation of Taiwanese artists, presenting the coolest Taiwanese zines.

The name “Tuā Hí Pau” comes from the “surprise packs” that elementary school teachers in Taiwan often prepared as rewards to their pupils from the late 1990s to the early 2010s. The contents of these packs varied—stationery, snacks, small toys—much like the different forms of publications produced within the collective: zines, photobooks, dummy books, poetry collections, CDs, etc.
