Schnapside

The associative publishing house Schnapside takes its name from the German Schnapsidee, which translates as “schnapps idea,” or a crazy idea that emerges during a night of festivities. Schnapside was founded by two artists who see publishing as a space for play and experimentation, like their zine Jambon-beurre. Multiplying formats and media, Schnapside has fun exploring new ways of presenting publishing. From strolling the streets of Marseille aboard the splash mobile to organizing zine buffets or building furniture for reading, Schnapside disseminates absurd narratives with generosity and humor.
