Sixteen years ago the first issue of Kink came out—sixty-four pages of black and white photographs of friends compiled throughout the years by the duo Paco y Manolo. Soon after the third issue of Kink was published—with a portfolio by Bruce LaBruce as a guest photographer—, other artists started sending their work to be included in Kink and Cuaderno, the supplement given away with every issue of the magazine. Since then almost 50 artists have been published on its pages: Jack Pierson, Slava Mogutin, Dean Sameshima, Ryan Pfluger, Benjamin Fredrickson, Brian Kenny, to name a few. At Paris Ass Book Fair Kink presents its 36th issue, as well as Numbers, a fanzine dedicated to their favourite Kink guys.
