Gabriel Mafféïs

Gabriel Mafféïs is an author and illustrator born in Épinal in 1998. Combining fantasy and homoerotic imagery, his graphic universe explores notions of masculinity, community, and the relationship between men and their environment. During his studies, he developed a keen interest in risography printing, which led to the publication of his first fanzine, Les Fées Papillons, with Quintal Atelier, in 2022. In parallel, he continues to develop his publishing practice with Miels, a collaborative magazine of LGBTQI+ comics.
