Anton Sibenaler is a gardener-botanist by profession who has been handcrafting personal diaries from the time he was a teenager. While Instagram standardises intimacy and Grindr industrialises desire, Anton re-injecs the raw into our digital narratives. He transforms these digital fragments into personal archives, telling the story of how we love and miss each other in the age of screens.
In 2024, his collaboration with Marc Turlan, Ouf t’es là! dissected the codes of gay friendship in thirty collages. Anton continues this exploration of emotions through an independent publishing practice, in which the fanzine serves as both form and subject matter. Through the staging of his body (NOS POSTURES, 2026), the visibility of dissident sexualities (REBLOG IF…, 2026), and the exploration of the relationship to the self (JE NE TE TROUVAIS PAS, 2026), he examines our neuroses through graphic works.
