A gardener and botanist by profession, Anton Sibenaler handcrafts personal diaries from the time he was a teenager. While Instagram standardises intimacy and Grindr industrialises desire, Anton reinjects the raw into our digital narratives. He transforms these digital fragments into personal archives telling the story of how we love and miss each other in the age of screens.
In 2024, his collaboration with Marc Turlan, Ouf t’es là! dissected the codes of gay friendship in thirty collages. His latest fanzine, Bonjour Vincent (2025), continues this exploration of affects, embodying the neurosis of love as a graphic object.
