Griet Menschaert is a professional artist and writer based between Belgium and the Netherlands, where she is Coach of Reflections at Design Academy Eindhoven. By initiating collaborations of all kinds and disciplines, Menschaert connects herself, other artists, and non-artists alike through publications so that each may learn about the other. Using publications as a tool to connect the fluidity of the “self” to that of the “other,” she uses text and illustration to research this ever-changing relationship. Menschaert’s work has been shown all over the world, and since 2012 she has collaborated with colleagues in Ukraine. Menschaert is also the founder and editor-in-chief of KONT magazine.
