Garçons Précieux

Garçons Précieux is a young artists duo composed of João Delfim and Clément Clausse. Passionate about printmaking and all forms of experimental publishing, the pair makes publications that are at the crossroads of prints and zines. In their creations, Garçons Précieux centers characters from popular visual culture: in particular, the representation of the gay boy in cinema, so often relegated to a role of minor importance and presented as deviant, and whose complexities end up sublimated.

Their body of publishing work, which expands from year to year, also enables the duo to reflect on the symbolic and artistic role of color, as well as on the different aspects of the book, playing with the notion of the art book while envisioning a more accessible distribution circuit.
