The Goodwiller

The Goodwiller is a collaborative project Taoka Misako and Saito Shiho started in 2019 in Portland, US. They buy clothes at second-hand stores and carry out the styling, photographing, editing, and bookmaking. In order to make the chosen items a part of the project, they attach The Goodwiller’s brand tag with unique serial number on each piece of clothing and, after they have finished all the manipulations, return it to the same second-hand store it came from. The idea behind this project is that anyone who buys these clothing items will automatically own The Goodwiller’s artwork without even knowing it. For PABF, the book dedicated to the third edition of The Goodwiller, that was carried out in Paris in the summer of 2022, will be released.
