Péixe Collardot

Peixe Collardot is a painter and a draughtsman from Strasbourg. For more than a year, he has been depicting himself in his flat, discovering through the act of painting a way out of loneliness and solitude. At the same time, he creates “ritual paintings”, daily pieces in identical formats, whose themes overlap and enrich one other over time. These paintings foreshadow the motifs to come in the rest of his work. One finds in them the excitement and the violence that is also present in his printed publications.
