Krishna Shanthi

Krishna Shanthi is a queer Tamil-Canadian multidisciplinary artist who uses image-making, research and criticism to visually communicate ideas about everyday human experience. He creates representations of hybrid identities, mixing concepts and materials coming from Hindu mythologies, comic-book superheroes and Disney princesses. He is currently obsessed with the colour blue and the cultural connotations of remembering and forgetting queerness as a learned understanding of identity and culture.
