GayKitschCamp - Paris Ass Book Fair

Who would have thought that the association GayKitschCamp, created by Patrick Cardon in Aix-en-Provence in 1987, would transform itself from a distributor of little-known LGBT texts into a real publishing house? Yet in 1989, to celebrate the bicentenary of the French Revolution, GayKitschCamp unearthed a pamphlet from 1791, Les Enfans de Sodome à l’Assemblée Nationale, and thus inaugurated its publishing adventure devoted to the republication of historical texts and documents. This year, the association brings to the PABF the scientific republication of the first French homosexual subculture magazine, Akademos, created in 1909 by Baron d’Adelswärd-Fersen, as well as the novel Adonis Bar (1928) by Maurice Duplay,, accompanied by a dossier by Jean-Marc Barféty on La Petite Chaumière.
