Sayo Senoo is a Japanese artist who uses atypical materials such as used condoms gleaned from outdoor meeting places, air from the forbidden zones of Fukushima, or animal organs discarded by hunters in the Arctic. By transforming rubbish into delicate and light objects, she questions the nature of our disgust and fear of things that are destroyed, dirty or smudged. She started her editorial work in 2019. Editions are a way for her to document her ephemeral work and also a creative medium in its own right.
