Queer Street Press

Queer Street Press is a London-based independent publishing imprint established by Sean Burns and Davide Meneghello in 2021. At Paris Ass Book Fair 2022, they will launch their inaugural release, Trois Pièces Faciles (Three Easy Pieces), by Sico Carlier. The work consists of three publications, in which the artist meticulously repurposes a collection of athletic and pornographic material from the 1950s to 1970s. It is a meditation on changing social attitudes, in which Carlier’s hand becomes a roving censor, omitting, isolating and emphasising critical details. Carlier’s publication will appear alongside new works by an international group of artists and writers selected by Queer Street Press, including Giulia Astesani, Inès Michelotto, Sam Moore, Jack O’Brien and more.
