Paint it Blank

“Paint it Blank is a duo of painters who paint together.” This is how these two artists define themselves, they have been experimenting as a duo for more than twenty years, and thus put the medium of painting through the mill. In a game of collage and appropriation, they make a mockery of the history of art by telescoping it with images from sources as diverse and varied as pornography, advertising… their everyday imagery, which becomes the raw material of their work.
