Migi Rocard

Migi is a graduate of École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Their work is oriented towards imaginary characters. The fantasy associated with the fanzine allows to introduce what they call an “Avatar” which generates its own narrative. They are interested in dystopias and in the place of the body in these new landscapes, whether digital or tangible. They use quotations and disrupts their iconographic obsessions with cropping and layouts. They take from scientific archives as well as from data harvested from the web which, mixed with vernacular elements, contribute to wild narratives. On the occasion of the Paris Ass Book Fair, they present several publications: Astro-Ciel, Avatars’s Archives, Golden Blue Death, Bois de Boulogne Surexposition, Book Treatment and Astres du bas.
