Michele Baron

Michele Baron documents the underground queer community and techno clubbing scenes of Berlin, London and Paris. Starting with capturing moments of intimacy between his friends, as an extended form of memory, his art’s familiarity and his own presence within spaces lead to an accepted form of voyeurism. Placing himself as a spontaneous mirror of reality, Michele uses 35mm analog camera to catch the characters of the night scene in various situation one feels comfortable to be observed in. From sexual act to straightforward portrait, Michele focuses on photographing the uniqueness of the moment where authenticity emerges from a form of unknown.
