Small Night is a studio, in a garage, in the south east of Ireland, which, for the last five years has screen-printed artists’ ideas & images for dissemination through zine & exhibition. The artist-editors, Alan Phelan, Laura Fitzgerald, James Merrigan and Christopher Steenson, are motivated by artists and alternative matrices, from print to performance. Their setup is modest, one beset by technical constraints and limitations, but with raw possibilities.
