Quelish

Quelish is a Berlin-based artist and curator, originally from Moscow. She first studied Visual Communication in Moscow before pursuing with Fine Art at the Berlin Weissensee Academy of Art and the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Emerging from the web-punk and “ugly cool” graffiti waves, she brings post-RPG fantasy aesthetics and post-graffiti symbolism into contemporary art. Through diverse materials, she explores philosophical questions and romantic fable-like narratives. Her practice bridges underground and pop culture, craft and concept, nature and technology. She creates immersive worlds and mythical creatures, often accompanied by publications expanding the narratives of her performative installations.
