MALDITO

Maldito is the main character of the namesake illustrated comics created by artists Francisco Terra and Nicolas Courgeon. It’s an ode to queer love and horror, and the genesis of a transdisciplinary project that makes fashion dialogue with visual arts.

Maldito clashes French couture with references to 1990s Brazilian pop culture. Folklore and teenage obsessions like Telenovelas and Boys bands are at the project’s core, and serve as the main inspiration to raise questions around queerness in youth from now and then.

For the 2025 edition of Paris Ass Book Fair, Maldito will discover that the cruising bush at Jardin des Tuileries has been erased. Where he could have encountered love, now only the mice run around in the dark of the night, while the Eiffel Tower illuminates the scene.

The capsule collection will be inspired by the chaos of tourist shops, art galleries, fashion brands of the Rivoli street, that coexist with the fetishism of the labyrinth in the Parisian queer landscape.

This capsule entitled « BRING BACK CRUISING » is a preview of the brand’s first show to be presented in 2025.
