Shadowbanning is considered a modern form of infamy, especially in the context of social networking and digital communication. This practice raises questions of ethics and transparency, as it can penalize users, rendering their voices and contributions invisible.
It is in the face of this imposed invisibility that their desire to come together emerged among the founders of the publishing house, determined to transcend these constraints. In a context where the web format can often seem restrictive and subject to merciless algorithms, the paper format becomes a real space of freedom. Offering a tangibility and intimacy that digital cannot match.
Their images aim to shift the lines of intimacy, encouraging everyone to free themselves from imposed norms, and “simply” love who they are. By exposing their own bodies, or those of those around them, they hope to inspire others to do the same, to lay themselves bare. Like an image therapy.
