Le Rubis Collective, composé d’artistes francais et brésiliens, s’attache à démystifier la pornographie et à faire de la représentation explicite de la sexualité un objet qui puisse avoir l’éloquence d’un discours politique, la force d’une œuvre d’art et l’universalité d’un poème. Le collectif, d’expression polymorphe, produit films, photographies, dessins et fanzines. Leur nouveau projet, Quand je ferme les yeux, un film documentaire explorant le poids des fantasmes et des images mentales dans la construction des sexualités, devrait paraître prochainement sur leur site web.
The Rubis Collective, bringing together French and Brazilian artists, aims to demystify pornography and make the explicit representation of sexuality an object that would have the eloquence of a political discourse, the force of a work of art and the universality of a poem. The collective, of polymorphic expression, produces films, photographs, drawings and fanzines. Their new project, Quand je ferme les yeux [When I Close my Eyes], a documentary film exploring the part of fantasies and mental images in the construction of sexualities, should be released soon on their website.
