Marco Siciliano est artiste. Il a initié le projet Personne. Un mot qui vaut pour une négation (il n’y a personne) ou désigne un individu. L’étymologie du mot remonte au grec ancien pour « masque ». Siciliano raconte des histoires sur les corps et leurs connexions, la distance, la douleur et l’amour. Même s’il n’est pas présent de lui-même, le corps est toujours là dans un souffle, dans une orgie de formes, dans des lieux intimes ou dans des paysages inconnus. Un fil d’argent lie les corps et les force dans des pages blanches, noires ou transparentes pendant que nous regardons silencieusement leur lente disparition.
Marco Siciliano is an artist. He initiated the project Personne. In French this word means ‘nobody’ or ‘a person’ with the article. The etymology of the word comes back to the ancient Greek for ‘mask’. Siciliano tells stories of bodies and their connections, distance, pain and love. Even if it is not present, the body is still in a breath, in an orgy of forms, in intimate spots or in unknown landscapes. A silver wire binds them and forces them into white, black or transparent pages while we silently watch their slow disappearance.
