Paco y Manolo ont commencé à travailler ensemble comme portraitistes pour plusieurs magazines, mais après la présentation en 2004 de leur série Common People, composée de nus de personnes anonymes, ils ont commencé à se détourner des travaux de commande et à se concentrer sur des projets personnels comme Memento Mori ou Forgotten Dreams, avec la photographie de nu comme genre principal dans leur travail. En 2006, ils ont cofondé Kink Ediciones, qui publie Kink, un magazine distribué internationalement consacré au nu masculin.
Paco y Manolo started to work together as portrait artists for several printed magazines, but after presentation of their series Common People, consisting of nudes of anonymous people, in 2004, they’ve begun to turn away from the publications and concentrated on personal projects such as Memento Mori or Forgotten Dreams, with nude photography as the basic genre of their work. In 2006 they co-founded Kink Ediciones, the publishing firm of Kink, an internationally distributed magazine dedicated to the male nude.
